Dishes such as Pan-Fried Sea Bass with Lobster Curry and Orange Roughy with a Truffle, Corn and Mushroom Ragu demonstrate the Chef’s flair for seafood, which is delivered daily from the West Coast. They also offer a combo “Jonathan’s Trio” which includes Alaskan Halibut, Ahi Tuna and Sea Bass in a Basil, Garlic, White Wine Sauce for $19.95. For lunch, Tinoco’s serves a wide range of sandwiches and salads such as delicious Cajun Chicken Melt and the Santa Fe Chopped Salad which has Marinated Achiote Chicken, Corn Salsa, Tortilla Strips and a Sweet and Spicy Chipotle-Lime Vinaigrette. There are about a dozen pastas, with names like ‘Christine’s Pasta’ with Medallions of Filet Mignon and Asparagus Tips over Linguine, named after the regular customers who order them. For steak lovers, Tinoco’s makes a mean Grilled Filet that comes with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and a Cognac Cream Sauce. Dinners range from $9-$25, and lunches average in the lower $6-$12.

Locally famous Chef Enrique Tinoco, owner of the new Tinoco’s Kitchen, also owns and operates Tinoco’s Bistro, a well established fine dining landmark in the heart of downtown Las Vegas’ Arts District. Since 1998, Tinoco’s Bistro has cultivated a loyal and diverse clientele. Its reputation for excellent food has spread by word of mouth through the most influential circles of the Art, Justice, Government and Healing professions. Due to the success of Tinoco’s Bistro as well as the full service off-site catering services it offers, the Tinoco’s brand image has never been stronger. “The Vegas Club is changing a lot, and one thing they wanted and needed was a top class restaurant,” said Chef Tinoco. “I’m pleased to expand my company to include Tinoco’s Kitchen. I’m going to make things more casual here than with my Bistro, and we’re going to stay open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week. Same Italian-California-Latin-Asian inspired food now on Fremont Street.” Chef Tinoco has contributed as much to the local food scene as any other chef in Las Vegas,” said Tony Bender, vice president of marketing for both the Vegas Club and its sister property the Plaza Hotel & Casino.

“Tinoco’s Kitchen is an exceptional addition to the Vegas Club. Chef Tinoco has owned and operated the swank, eponymous downtown hotspot – Tinoco’s Bistro for more than a decade, assembling his signature Eclectic Continental cuisine for mobbed dining rooms of lunching Las Vegas luminaries daily.” * * * The Vegas Club, located on the Fremont Street Experience, is ideal for the leisure traveler. Walk out of your hotel room, and you’re in the middle of the excitement and energy of classic Las Vegas. The hotel features more than 400 rooms and suites, a rapid rotation of the latest, most innovative slots, video machines and table games and the new Tinoco’s Kitchen.
